Our purpose as the MPHS Community Trust is to enable communities to connect and flourish. We run projects and programmes in our community.
About Hub West
Rosemary started her connection with the MPHS in 2008 as a Unitec student on a local projects and initiatives placement. She continued to volunteer her time and skills to initiatives including cooking at youth camps, serving at breakfast club, and entertaining HIPPY kids when needed. This experience gave her an appreciation of the energy within the community and a practical knowledge about community development at the grass roots level.
Rosemary began her MPHS governance commitment in 2009 and in 2013 took on the role of the Board’s Chairperson which she held through to 2015. She brings to the board her historical knowledge of the area, her experience as a family worker as well as her genuine passion to see families connected to each other and their community.

β β β β β The place was clean and tidy. Plenty of chairs and tables, but there is no fridge/freezer in the kitchenets in the rooms.

β β β β β Great place and lications. You can hire the hall and its smaller rooms for functions. Plenty parking and a great place away from the busy main road

β β β β β First time there quite interesting with lots of people gathering and also companies hiring the hall for use. Good parking for cars except quite difficult to get into the building as the turn for parking is near a bend to turn in

β β β β β Massive place to have your function at with good facilities to use. Not very clean in the main hall where the function is being held.
The policy of hiring the venue is that you need to clean up after yourself which is fine but there needs to be a check list if exactly what is needed to be done afterward and for someone to check it so the next people who come along to use it donβt get left with a dirty environment to set their party or event up in.

β β β β β A fantastic community centre with something for everyone, conveniently located near the shopping district next to Bruce Maclaren Intermediate school.
On a monday there is a community meal for everyone from 6:45 pm -7:45 pm.
Come along for a meal and meet some new people.
