Beautiful and photographic views along the way and a great way to learn of the Maori history in this area. Worth the effort on a nice sunny day. It could be windy in some places but nothing to be concerned about.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Huriawa Historic Site offers a really peaceful walk with some breathtaking views. This is a lovely space to be in and you’ll be away from the crowds and tourists. Look out for the hole in the wall and there is plenty of bird life along the way too.
