β β β β β Industry Vintage doesnβt not accept Ministry Of Health issued mask exemptions and is hostile when confronting members of the public regarding this issue.
After contacting the Human Rights Commission, it has come to my attention that their refusal to accept mask exemptions is, not only morally questionable, but is viewed as discrimination of a disabled person.
I would like to point out that physical ailments are not the only reasons for a person to be issued with a mask exemption, mental illnesses can render people unable to wear a mask which makes it all the more concerning g when Industry Vintage staff treat members if they public in an unfriendly way that could be interpreted as threatening and hostile.
The treatment I am referring to is
β’Standing uncomfortably close when asking the person to leave (including moving their face closer)
β’Staff member positioning themselves in such a way as the person who was asked to leave was, essentially, corned during said conversation.
