★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Why am I unable to speak to anyone on getting registered for a tax number?I am not a citizen, nor do I have PR, but I do have a working visa.Went in personally on a previous occasion and have been trying to speak to someone telephonically today but only some robot voice telling me that the call volumes are high and I should try the DIY options.Well,I can’t!I have to speak to someone and then go in again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called them and they literally said the call volumes are to high then hung up on me. Went into the office, one staff member 3 people in front of me. A wierd beeping noise that sounds like life support. Not a good experience

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I started a company. Expenses incurred but no income. Decided not to try and get GST refund. But GST form not sent to me for completing. Just a letter from a Richard Philip advising me they have charged me $50 for not filing a zero GST return on time. Not possible to get phone contact. BUT have just spoken to a very helpful lady called Alley at IRD and all sorted...so 5 star plus rating. Thank you so much
