★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing Indonesian food. They have a constant stream of customers and it’s the first time in 12 months that I’ve seen a full restaurant anywhere in Auckland.
Prices are pretty good. Looking at $15-$18 for an average main dish.
Great selection of take out desserts too. Go for the steamed coconut milk one.

got the Nasi Kuning, jar of sambal and Nasi campung Bali it was satisfactory level as I was craving Indonesian food love the corn fritters shredded and boiled eggs and yes the crackers soo nice for the texture and it was flavourful not sure how the rest feels but it was spicy has a nice heat love all the different sides all together as a platter it was a delicious

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As indonesian that loves food, I always have a soft spot for indonesian dishes, especially anything javanese as I was born and grew up there.
We have been to its java when it was in previous location. But always end up coming back to Bali Nights more often (its sister restaurant). So as soon as we heard its Java new opening in a bigger space, beautiful decor, and new menu, I am in. If I have an unlimited space in my belly, I will probably order half of the menu. Everything scream delicious.
We ended up ordering the tempe goreng, gado gado, rawon, and tumpeng mini (for our 3 yo).
Our highlight definitely the rawon, beautiful soup with tender generous beef meat. Accompanied by crakers, rice, salted egg, and beansprout. Yum! I am in food heaven. Oh plus their sambal that has a great kick, I am now regretting not getting a jar of it to bring home. Will definitely be back to walk my way through the menu. Thank you mas Zemy, mas Bobby, and team. Well done! You guys make me proud as Indonesian!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food here taste like home cooked meals ?. Our favorite is Resoles and we order it every time. Crunchy outside and creamy stuffing inside. Friendly customer service and food never disappoint. Space is quite small for big groups.
