โ โ โ โ โ Great local location delightful decor coffee made to exact order some of us had 2nds! Food delish and presented well. One of our group not happy with knife but felt I understood the reasons. Great cafe to pop into or chat with friends at big table. Newspaper appreciated..more smiles from staff please...we will return keep up the good work.

โ โ โ โ โ Wonderful staff, wonderful coffee, wonderful food! A really lovely spot run by really lovely people. I've tried the coffee from both here and Wild Wheat next door and Ivy & Bean's coffee is far, far superior. Wild Wheat does great bread but the coffee is average at best and the pies, while homemade, are very gelatinous. Ivy & Bean do amazing coffee and their pies are truly gourmet with premium meat.

โ โ โ โ โ I honestly can't believe that you were accused of having fake reviews from close connections. I love your cafe! The way you try to be environmentally friendly is unique and an example many other cafes should follow. Your coffee is amazing and so are your muffins, I would say 10/5 stars. Definitely coming back soon!

โ โ โ โ โ Ordered bacon cream cheese quiche and a berry smoothie. The quiche smelt funny (definitely not fresh and was dripping with oil!) - I couldnโt bring myself to taste it. The smoothie was tasteless and too bitty.
Itโs a shame

โ โ โ โ โ Had takeout. Ordered the pancakes, corn fritters, and the big kiwi breakfast.
Pancakes - no taste, rubbery.
Corn fritters - had red chili pieces which was not mentioned in the menu.
Big kiwi breakfast - the poached eggs were the hardest I've ever eaten.
A pity.

โ โ โ โ โ Nice hot choc, and tasty pies. Not very impressed with the throw away cutlery and plate though, even when dining in. Had to ask for real cups for the hot choc, otherwise that would have ended up in paper waste too. Better than plastic, but not better than good old crockery.
