It's a bit cluttered, but it's 100x better priced than everything else, and there's a great diversity in coinage.

I have purchased items both online and in store from them many times and have been very happy with the variety and quality of said items. Also I have found the staff to be incredibly helpful and friendly. I simply cannot think of a better place in Wellington for your coin/stamp/postcard collecting needs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow!..... the moment you step into his store you are overcome with “geez what should I look at or buy next??” An absolute aladdins cave!
Despite the no particular order of the shop the staff instantly know what you are looking for when you ask them....despite the interior chaos! Highly recommend John Eccles if you are a banknote, coin or stamp collector like me ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small coin shop with plenty to look at. They offer buying and selling of coins, notes, stamps and other things. Been here several times and have never left empty handed. Parking can be a but of a pain but it is qhat it is in the cbd.
