Breakfast was exeptionally good and it was very nice to get to know the host and chat with her. The Rooms were lovely and cozy.
Loved it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful, secluded apartment space very close to downtown Nelson. The bed was comfortable, the linens were very soft and our room had a wonderful Mediterranean shower set-up. We enjoyed taking time to sit outside while admiring the gardens and listening to the birds. Paulina was welcoming and we appreciated all the little touches she provided like fresh towels and lovely smelling soaps.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb! Pauline, the owner, is amazing. The studio is the best and roomiest studio we've ever stayed in. The garden is heaven with a pond and water running through which creates a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The interior design is gorgeous. We're definitely coming back and next time we'll stay much longer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can not say enough about staying at Joya Garden & Villa Studios. My room was very clean and quiet. The bed was super comfortable. Paulina would have to be the best host ever and bent over backwards for me. The breakfast was 5 star with an incredible range of condiments. I would not hesitate to stay there again, in fact I would base my next business trip around the availability of this accommodation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A deeply relaxing oasis in the city. From the cool tiled floor to the comfortable futon, well-equipped kitchen and lovely wooden furniture. Then step outside to enjoy breakfast on the deck overlooking the lilypad pond. A great place for an individual, couple or family getaway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed in the Garden Unit which is self-contained with a decking looking out to a pond and garden area. Peaceful unit with the sound of the little waterfall flowing into the pond. A lovely place to switch off and be able to sit and read a chapter of your book not knowing you are only a 15-minute walk from the centre of Nelson.
I highly recommend having the breakfast Paulina offers, it is absolutely delicious and has lots of options for all tastes. Paulina is a wonderful host.
