About Kadima Design Direct
Kadima is a family business. Created in 1982 by Bruce Hancock as manufacturers of domestic soft furniture supplying the local retail stores, Kadima eventually progressed to selling direct to the public in 1986. Joined by John McFarlane in the mid 1980s as a business partner Bruce continued the direction of well made but affordable furniture for the residential market well into the 1990s.
The family connection begins when John's son Scott joined the manufacturing team and Bruces son Matt the sales and marketing team in the late 80's/early 90s. The rest as they say, is history. The next generation has expanded from the well built base made for them by the originals. Reaching beyond residential only into commercial furniture, reupholstery services and specialist custom fitouts the Kadima workshop casts a far wider net these days.
One thing hasn't changed. Whether you purchased from Kadima 30 years ago or last week, you have owned a quality piece of locally made furniture, guaranteed.
