Kaitake is a particularly welcoming and friendly course on the coast just south of New Plymouth. The course is gently undulating and easy walking, yet challenging. We have spectacular views, fresh sea air, native trees and shrubs with a wide variety of bird life creating a special charm.
We are close to the premier beach resort or Oakura, and enjoy year round patronage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We phoned and asked to stay the night. When we got there we could not get in the clubhouse. There were no facilities open either for a drink or a meal but we were given a code to have a shower but unfortunately the whole place was covered in flies outside. We could not open our windows we stayed an hour and left.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great course to play, hazzard on all but three holes. The greenkeeper puts the holes in awkward places, makes it challenging. I'm sure he walks off the green with a smirk on his face. The greens fast and well cared for. Fairways nicely mowed. Rough not to long. People very friendly and helpful. They have the cheapest round of golf in taranaki every wednesday , only five dollars. You must play this course if coming to taranaki.
