Booking Your Session

Before You Book — Let’s chat! A quick phone call or an e-mail is the best way to book your pre-session consultation with me to see if we’re a good fit, and go over any pre-booking questions about the portrait process, available dates, and locations.
Your Retainer Payment is a non-refundable fee that officially confirms your session reservation.

The Session

The Day of Your Session Is When The Fun Starts! I’ll initially get everyone comfortable with a few poses and shutter clicks, and then we let the session unfold.

After Your Session

A Sneak Peek of one of my favorite images from your session will debut on my studio Facebook.
Your Ordering Session is scheduled two to three weeks after your session. Now you can view your images, pick your favorites, and put together your order for prints, albums, boxes and more to showcase the best images from your session.
I help you select your favourite images, and suggest different ways that you might showcase them for your home and lifestyle, or for gifts. Sharing your portraits in a way that you can see each day will make them a meaningful part of your life and memories, and remind you of the beauty others see in you.
Your Portrait Products generally arrive within about six weeks of your order. It’s time to fall in love with your portraits all over again!

Portrait session fee

A portrait session fee is due in full a day before a portrait session to secure your booking.

You may cancel a session for any reason whit more than 48 hours’ notice and the session fee will be refunded.

If you cancel the session 48 hours of the session without a request to change the date, or if you fail to attend the session, your forfeit any session already paid.

Prices

Prices are subject to change without notice. However, when you pay your session fee you lock in the price for your sitting and products. Re-orders are available subject to current prices.

Copyright & Reproductions

Karolina Stus and the client agree to override section 21(3) of the Copyright Act 1994. I retain copyright ownership of all images but grant you a non-exclusive license for PERSONAL USE of the images you have purchased. This licence comes into effect from the date of full payment for your order. You are welcome to share the photographs with other and make your own prints, but you may not edit the images or sell them for financial gain ( i.e as stock photography).

Use of photographs

My business is dependent on being able to show my work, so I really appreciate it when clients allow me to share what I created. The default position is that I reserve the right to use all images for self=promotion, which may include ( but is not limited to) exhibitions, portfolios, competitions, website, social media, samples or advertising materials. However, I agree not to use images for the above purposes if you object for any reasons. Please make a note on your booking form if you don’t want me to use your images for the above purposes.
