★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Joined the library for my daughter, she loves it here and we go every Saturday to get new books. They have good range of Kid's books - Stories, educational, arts, etc. The staff are very friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Granddaughter always loves going here, sitting in a comfortable chair by the window and having stories read to her. Also great that you can take coffee from Cafe on the Square into the library as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ nice library but why is there no air conditioning upstairs. In the summer it can get very very hot up there and there are only fans and no windows to open . I love coming here on a cold day to keep warm but in summer no. The temp is alright downstairs just a little bit stuffy in the summer

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Discriminating, condescending, unhelpful and rude. If you turn up to return books and pick up a reserve (by waiting outside whilst a staff member collects it) you will be handed this print-out and turned away. Disgusting service by a public library.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The 2 stars is Covid related. The man stationed at the door has no concept of personal space. He takes a photo of the Vaccine pass and stands right up close while doing so. I've spoken to him about it but he takes no notice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This cosy, busy local library and it's helpful staff cater to all visitors. A modest collection of the key categories including magazines and even a travel top up kiosk for those who use the bus. There's a good range of work desk options, computers and power outlets. Even an onsite cafe. Very kid friendly.
