★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I haven't actually been there but I did see a photo of it a few years ago and it was in mint condition. From all accounts it isn't used as often as it should be, but as the saying goes people, if you don't use it, you will lose it. So get amongst it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not really sure where this thicket is. If it's the creek and bush alongside the new Milldale development then it's not a thicket you can walk and enjoy. Cordoned off with signs not to enter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wise man once told me. If there's grass on the wicket, it's clearly a thicket. General feedback is this bush is well groomed and maintained and has been well looked after by many of the locals. If you're after one of the best thickets in South Whangarei, this place won't let you down.
