★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kauri Park reserve is closed to protect the kauri from kauri dieback disease. A shame we can’t enjoy this pristine bush but more important we preserve the kauri for future generations. If you wanted to walk this check out others in kaipatiki like Eskdale or Lee Roy’s instead.
