★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Picked up the trail via Queenstown Hilton and the Queenstown trail. It was a good trek for a couple hours. Sun was out and the mountains were beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Okay well to start parking is WEIRD. Maybe I had the wrong spot but it was basically the end of a road with maybe room for like 3 cars to park . Perhaps there are multiple spots to park....
Anyway - YES, the walk is very gorgeous. There’s also a cute swing on the tree.
HOWEVER - if you’re coming to see this grand fall .... don’t bother. It was pitiful. Typically I can enjoy the small things in life but this didn’t do it for me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice open green space with amazing view of the mountains. There is a small Park bench overlooking the river but the trees block most of the view. Better to look behind at the mountains. There is a small hidden walking trail that is near the river and ends up at the bridge with some trees surrounding it. Otherwise a good bike trail.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The scenic reserve is also has Zoological garden within which doesn't allow dogs for a very obvious reason but outside of that has beautiful bike track. Highly recommended place for small kids if they want to experience close contact with Peacocks, they have about 5 to 6 of them. SO beautiful
