★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have found Kennards to have good quality equipment and service. I think they are expensive but handy to where I live so accept the higher cost for the convenience. You can expect to hire quality and well serviced equipment here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have used this company a few times, and excellent service. A month ago, I rented a carpet cleaner and thought it would be like a "Rug Doctor". The item they had was like a vacuum cleaner where you have to add tablets to the water. I thought this might be a mission with this machine. I went home and had a quick go. No way was I going to use this for the whole house. I packed it up and returned it within one hour of collecting it. I told the guys it wasn't for me and not up to the job for a whole house clean. Maybe $20 would be a fair and reasonable charge, but no $55.
I rented a "Rug Doctor" from Mitre10 for $55. This did a great job.
I received an online customer survey, told my story and asked for someone to ring, and no one has rung, hence my account of things. In summary, I do not recommend renting this carpet cleaning machine.
