We were in the rain so our road trip was slower then expected, we were going to miss check in at our previous accommodation booking so we see this place and gave it ago. Well I can say the owners were amazing we really.enhoyed our cabin. I love the beach.amd the wildlife we seen. The place is rural and relaxing. 8 can't wait for another visit here will try a sunny day next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kepplestone by the Sea with Jack and Ester was just the loveliest place I've ever stayed in the Catlins. They were so welcoming and thought of every convenience. The room was beautifully set up and warm. The shower was great. Free range eggs from their chickens, and lots of local knowledge. 10/10 and I'll certainly be returning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a delightful little unit very very close to the sea at Surat Bay,it had the feeling of an old Bach with its eclectic bits n bob's dotted around.
It was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our 4 day stay including fresh free range eggs brought to us each day for breakfast along with cereal and fruit.
Esther and Jack the hosts were just delightfully welcoming and thoughtful.
A wonderful break away?
