★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not recommend this place. My friends and I were on our way back from Mount Cook to our Airbnb and after missing a turn we were along this road when our car was almost out of petrol. We tried to refuel here but apparently the credit card machine does not accept international credit cards. To make matters worse, a man who claimed to be working at the workshop here told us he will help us to get 40 NZD worth of petrol if we paid him 50 NZD. He knew we had no choice and chose to rip us off. Utterly disappointing.
