About Kitchen Studio - Tauranga
Before designing and installing kitchens, husband and wife team, Avesh and Susan were high-flying executives in the financial industry. So it might seem an unusual transition to go from banking to transforming kitchens. Coming back to Nelson to raise their kids was a huge factor, as was the desire to work face to face with people.
Avesh explained, "We both wanted to do something more fulfilling, and it doesn't get much better than designing stunning kitchens that add value to your home".
For Susan, it's even more personal, "I love Nelson and was born and raised here, to be able to work with local people and help them transform their home is a joy".

β β β β β The quality of our kitchen completed April 2021 meets expectations however there were delays, design changes throughout the build phase resulting in significant compromises and no follow up once the kitchen was finished to determine if we were satisfied or gain any learnings for continuous improvement which was the most disappointing aspect and so easy to do.

β β β β β The design service we received was fantastic and the process was really easy. From then on we found the customer service to be not so great and communication was shocking. We had missing pieces, lots of different stories, issues with the finish and I had to keep following up. I probably wouldn't use Kitchen Studio again.

β β β β β We have had a great experience working with Matthew and the Kitchen Studio team. Our project spanned into years as we needed to complete a renovation first. Matthew was always patient with our shifting timing and all our questions. The customer service from all the staff was excellent. We had lockdown in our fit-out process. The kitchen was made usable and easily completed once trades people were able to work again.We are thrilled with our kitchen. It functions well and looks great too.

β β β β β Ambrose Vickers is amazing. It was obvious from the outset that she listened (a thorough consult at home including screens of notes). Ambrose took the whole idea I had for our kitchen, and presented a layout/plan that respected all I wanted and cleverly gave me everything I needed.
Covid19 delayed the installation of our kitchen, however Phil Bell kept us in the know with progress.
The finished product is a joy to be in, and itβs a kitchen!?!?! The process to get from imagining to working has been good, with creative solutions, an eye for detail and plenty of advice/suggestions, Ambrose and Phil from Kitchen Studio - Tauranga, are a team Iβd be more than happy to work with again.
