β β β β β KIWI AS GUEST HOUSE is such a great place to stay especially if on a budget! Whole building is heated all the way into the bedrooms, really comfortable beds with pillows, water pressure in shower is great, tourist attractions are close by & overall an awesome experience!

β β β β β The place is a dump rusted pipes stained carpets holes in walls badly painted walls windows don't shut cold air comes in wi fi doesnt eork and the manager is rude. When I pointed out wi wfi wasn't working he said I had an attitude

We booked for 5 days in family room with a single bed, queen bed and bunk beds and private bathroom and had leave the day after we checked in. No refund. Just woke up and checked out. I could not stay any longer with me family.Cob webs everywhere, dust everywhere, mold on the walls by bed where wall heater was and all along bottom of walls, draft coming through broken door(although we visited summer I bet in the winter this will be pretty bad), carpet stained everywhere, mold in bathroom, bathroom faucet broken, had like a box bathroom and walls didnt go all the way up to ceiling could see rubbish, broken speakers and dust on top of this boxed bathroom area (bunk beds right next to this and my boys were all not sleeping close to this area) I suggest a health hazard to be honest, in shared area cobwebs up ceiling, mold everywhere, shared kitchen very small and laundry room quite scary to be in and actually spooked us to be in, kettle in our room was not clean down the bottom. For the price at the time we booked without extra people staying we could have stayed across the road for and extra 100 dollars at the millennium hotel. Much nicer and cleaner I would think. Definitely a backpackers kind of venue!!!

β β β β β The room was clean and tidy. We payed $300 dollars for two nights. Over the long weekend. Bit over the top I think when the following weekend it is only half of that. But I suppose if you don't like it stay at home. I suppose that big question is would I stay in Rotorua again, I don't think so.

β β β β β Good value for the money here. Nice friendly service. Peaceful for the time of year we were there. Can use the kitchen if you want to cook. No alcohol allowed on the premises which we found out after we had a bottle each (sign in the kitchen). Still, will return there again.

β β β β β Giving it a 5 star because it is one of the best values I've found with very friendly staff. If you are low maintenance, small family, couples, or just on a budget and just need clean room with shower and toilet near the town centre, this is an awesome place. Located walking distance to everything.

β β β β β I chose the guesthouse for cheapness, availability and proximity to attractions. It is perfectly adequate for my needs. The building is aging but clean and staff are friendly and helpful. The room has a single bed, a desk, a chair and a built-in wardrobe with hangers. They provide bedding and towels. All good quality and clean. Recommend for price range.
