★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schlechtestes Hostel , wo wir jemals waren!Die Betten sind eine Katastrophe und unser ganzes Zimmer war voll mit Ameisen. Die Managerin Sally ist sehr unfreundlich und hat unser Fand ( 30$ ) am Ende unseres Aufenthalts nicht zurück gegeben! Dazu beschuldigt sie einen nicht richtig sauber gemacht zu haben um so kosten für Putzkräfte etc. zu senken.
Eine echte Abzocke ist dieses Hostel!!!!
 Worst hostel we have ever been to! The beds are a disaster and our whole room was full of ants. Manager Sally is very rude and didn't return our find ($ 30) at the end of our stay! To do this, she accuses you of not having cleaned properly in order to lower the costs for cleaning staff etc.
This hostel is a real rip off !!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't stay there. Too expensive accomodation, no internet, no reasonable landlod / manager and they will promise you work, but it's not guaranteed at all. Above all, you will have to sign a contract that they will HELP you find work and you MUST stay in their hostel and pay regurarly for accom. And that's not all: They will make a copy of your credit card - just in case you would like to run away. So they have absolute power on you. As I said before: don't go there or you will regret it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you like sleeping in on weekends, toilet paper, working can openers, reasonable land-managers, ANY job security or a feeling of home don't stay here. I stayed here for several months, I should have left. There are many other hostels in Blenheim that help you find work, are cheaper and organize activities. If anyone tells you they have work for you at kiwi bunkhouse, there is 50% chance you won't have work. Several people came and left because they were promised work but didn't get it. There is no internet. Don't stay here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be careful of this working hostel. They have changed the name into Sally’s workers hostel. The ad they post on backpacker board is fake. It showed me guaranteed 12 hours long shift and 4 days per week. But when I arrived only get 10 hours per day and depends on orders. The bed is disgusting and stinky, I got bitten by bed bug and full of other people’s hair on blanket. WiFi charge 50$ per month. The job is not hard but charge your vest and ear muffs also force you to take 7$ bus per day only for 5 minutes drive. And no lock of the house I don’t feel safe at all.
