★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought this for my husband for our wedding anniversary as he loved the tv program vikings , and is of danish heritage and likes to think he is a viking.
The blue writing really stands out.
He loved it
It was so easy to use the website and to purchase and the extra options of spelling is great. highly recommend to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When things are through normally its great, but when you need to reach for the customer service hotline, there is little hope.
I tried 3-4 days already and did not manage to speak to any person, it sounded like it is going thru to someone with a ringtone after pressing keys to select options, but then it is gone to blackhole.. no one picks up and no more ringtone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Improve the explanation on your website about the gifting process. Waiting on the gift which doesn't arrive because as it turns out is a 2 Step process is very frustrating. And I can read I'm not the only person to bring this to your attention.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This process sucks....now you still have to go through the manufacturer to get the darn thing made...that's what I thought I was paying for....this is dumb. I was trying to gift a person these plates as a birthday present, now that's impossible as I am unable to call the manufacturer as I am not the plate owner....surprise factor ruined.
Update as of 24/02/22 once I had finally received my refund.
10 days after my purchase I contacted them to find out what was happening. I was then told I had been sent an email telling me my plate request had been declined due to them deeming my plate request as “ unsociable “…. I told the lady I had not received any emails to this regard why would I be calling had I received an email?
Needless to say , there was no attempt thereafter to contact me to initiate the return of my funds. Then I supplied bank details and there was some dispute regarding bank account details. Once again I had to contact them after several days again to get clarification on what the delay was. Eventually I did speak to a person that seemed a little more helpful than the person I was initially dealing with and after 35 days plus I did get a full refund.
Overall rating of this experience to be honest is that I have had way better customer service and experience from a customs officer at Perth international airport…… best advice …… do what I eventually did. Try find a second hand personalised plate that suits close enough.
I have absolutely nothing positive to advise any future customer regarding my whole experience with kiwi plates. Good luck if you try.

They also double checked the size where my plate would be going and it fits PERFECTLY. I can't thank them enough. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kiwi Plates were awesome. I wanted a new plate for my 2021 Tesla, that was due to arrive in the country in June. I ordered a custom plate with a red, lower profile font. Kiwi Plates were able to send it straight to Tesla, so they could register it with the new plate. I picked up the car with the plate all fitted. Love it. Thanks Kiwi Plates.
