Sharvani is a legend waiter. Unbelievably good service. Food is to die for. Beer is fantastic.

Incredible value for money, sit down lunch deal for $14 is bowl of curry, rice, huge naan bread and a soft drink, none of us finished it, tasty and quick service too

Amazing food, one of the best naan breads i have had. We had the lunch special and it was tasty and abundant. I totally recommend this place.

Mixed platter starter was ok. Good naan bread. Main course was awful; looked and tasted like a tin of liquidised tomatoes with a couple of spices thrown in. Very disappointed.

First time with the family and friends, was told that food was good. Walked in with a great expectation. Service seemed very good at the start since we were the only customers on a weekend night. Seemed strange but were happy to be given priority. Food 1. Mixed meat platter which I hoped would have been good but immediately let down by a very strong flavoured salty sheek kebab, rest of the platter was good for me but others didn't feel so as they were pushing it all to me. 2. The lachha paratha seemed store bought and didn't seem fresh. 3. Chicken korma, paneer saagwala and roti was good. 4. The lamb biriyani was a shocker, I don’t know which part of India was the biriyani from, but it was not authentic at all and didn’t taste anything like biriyani, to make it worse it was saltless. Sorry to say friends but if you want to know how Biriyani tastes, please don’t order here unless they give you a special taster without billing it. Service, all went well until the point when the pal their asked, “how was the food?” I started with how Biriyani tasted but he got defensive straight away saying “we have been serving for 10 years” (so what? Do you still want me to eat it?) and then as though it didn’t bother me, I continued to give him feedback about rest of the food considering it was meant to help them serve better. But he never really apologized for anything. That was rude my friend. Worse part was, couple of us had indigestion that night and felt poorly until next day, dumped all the takeaway next day. 1. Kohinoor needs to taste the food before it leaves the kitchen. One major rule for restaurants. 2. Please make fresh food and if it can’t be authentic then please learn to make it or don’t serve it, please. 3. Don’t ask for feedback if you can’t accept it. 4. Apologise if customer is not happy and see how else you can compensate to make them happy. Do not leave the customer walking out unhappy. Can't say I wouldn't recommend to anyone, if you want food, check customer's reviews and order only the food with good reviews but I highly doubt another visit after my bad experience. None of us even remembered to take photos due to bad experience. All the best.

I tasted the curry and naan when a friend ordered all the way in to her property in the country. Despite the delay due to distance the naan was fresh and tasty and curries were perfectly packaged too.

I've been a customer for nearly 10 years now. Kohinoor has ALWAYS been my preferred Indian. Though in the last 3 orders - there's been a steep turn down in both flavour and quality. I'm not sure what happened - change of ownership? Maybe chef - but its not the same. My last order will be my last, and I no longer recommend it.

The food was good. I had butter chicken. The price was great too. Although the waiter was a bit interesting. He tried to refuse when 4 of us chose a 6-ppl table, giving us a reason “the table is bigger to get it cleaned”. We just didn’t want to get squeezed into one square table as it was our first time here not knowing how big the plate will be nor the place was serving anybody else since we were early for lunch. Giving us a different reason would have made our experience better.
