★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kotuku meaning that of the white/grey heron could be found here feeding in the marshland. The Reserve is recreational with a boat mooring and launch, a jetty to fish from or swim. For relaxing it has a small park like area seats and tables, toilet block, car-park access from Plummers point road and walkways round the bay. A map to the use of the Reserve is by the boat launch and affordable accommodation is 8 minutes away in Te Puna ☺

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely little reserve with a public jetty (pontoon type) and tidal boat launching ramp. Not much parking. Well known locally for kingfish fishing off the pontoon.
