Unable to answer questions in regards to number off falls and skin tears and abscess(3 phones calls)
Was told even as on contact list they still didnt need to discuss my mother's situation as not first contact.
Different story's and answers from there different calls.
Manager only reads reports weekly so unable to help aswel.

The staff are amazing and genuine beautiful souls, the place is beautiful, considering its age and extremely well maintained.
It is person centered care on steroids, we were guided well to cater to the residents and practice the Eden principles daily.
I recently moved overseas and thought every aged care provider would be the same to Kowhainui, but what I've found so far is Kowhainui is superior on every level.
The care, the food, staffing levels, the choice and options of person centered care for the residents, culture, the equal respect, management, care staff and nurses and the drs.
Everything!! Just 100% more better.
I honestly never knew how good it was at Kowhainui until I left.
I speak nothing but praise for the place and my co-workers here always are speechless and amazed when I tell them about the place.
One day whenever I return to the whenua I will be back, I am actually proud of working there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trish, Adam and the staff are the most amazing people caring for the elderly residents. My Dad recently stayed here at Kowhainui as a resident. The staff are very freindly, out going, helpful and caring. They made my Dads stay the best it could possibly be. They even made him laugh.
I highly recommend Kowhainui.
