★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Bodega is an amazing place to spend a few nights when on the beautiful Waiheke Island. The owners are the nicest couple, providing great service, hospitality and tips. We stayed at the guest residency, which is an apartment connected to the main building. It has two terraces with amazing views, a BBQ and so much more. I would recommend this location for everybody who’s looking for a modern and great place to stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed there over New Years 2021. We had the awesomest time and stayed in guest house. Veronica and Brett were amazing. Place was clean with breath taking views. Felt at home and relaxing time away from home. Got local honey as well. Definitely recommend this place.

Brett and Veronica are amazing hosts - excellent chefs, helpful with all practicalities, know all the best spots on the island - but maybe most importantly, they're very warm and welcoming. Needless to say, the house and surroundings are beautiful. We'll be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited La Bodega while on our honeymoon in May, and this was by far our favorite place we stayed in New Zealand! Brett and Veronica were amazing hosts with great recommendations of hidden treasures on the island. The house itself is absolutely stunning and close to some of the best wineries. We would definitely recommend La Bodega to anyone looking for a special stay you won't forget!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just got back from a honeymoon and stayed at La Bodega our first 2 nights in New Zealand. Veronica and Brett were so kind and welcoming, the room was very clean with an amazing shower and bed! We slept best here out of all our nights in NZ. The breakfast in the morning was fresh and delicious! They offer rides into town and are more than accommodating to make you comfortable. The view from our room was superb overlooking the water. The scenery is stunning and not too far from restaurants and downtown, but far away that you feel private and romantic in the lush atmosphere. We fell in love with this island and LA Bodega!!! Thank you again Brett and Veronica!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Bodega is a labour of love which has provided the traveller and explorer to Waiheke Island an oasis of luxury and warmth. My wife and I just spent our wedding anniversary with Brett and Veronica who are a beautiful couple. The accommodation is spectacular as are the views. Their knowledge of the island is invaluable and their generosity in ferry pick-ups and drop-offs goes above and beyond. We loved our stay and look forward to seeing you both again soon. Thanks guys!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an unforgettable experience at La bodega Waiheke Island during our short stay. We love the thoughtful breakfast which has put in so much love and effort in preparation. The children kept looking for Chica during their stay. The the view from this place was amazing and everywhere was spotlessly clean, much better than what we can imagine. Definitely recommend this place for all.

The room was wonderful, clean, the bed is super comfortable. The beautiful sea views and vineyards views is a plus. We highly recommend to our friends to stay there.
