With a history dating back to the early 1900’s, the Whanganui office turned 100 in 2019. However, this is far from an old business. Throughout its history the firms which have made Balance what it is today has evolved to meet the needs of clients. The Whanganui office has also been strong in its community contribution and also has supported major Maori incorporations and Trusts since their inception through to present day – including Morikaunui and Atihau Whanganui Incorporation. We also work with Agribusiness, Commercial, Manufacturing and Real Estate. 

Whanganui

The office has also been strong in its community contribution and also has supported major Maori incorporations and Trusts since their inception through to present day – including Morikaunui and Atihau Whanganui Incorporation.

New Plymouth & Stratford

Laurie Jordan FCA Limited became part of the Balance team in January 2020. Both the New Plymouth and Stratford offices evolved from a series of partnerships, beginning with Laurie Jordan & John Hareb in New Plymouth in the late 1980s and with Keith Elliot at Stratford around the same time.

While, as one might expect in a dairy farming region, there is a strong focus on farm accountancy in our offices. However, our clients are drawn from a diverse and mixed background including; family businesses, retail and wholesale business as well as tradespeople, or in some cases, professional.
