LEVIN GLASSWORKS are simply the best company I have dealt with since moving to the area six months ago. Unfortunately the $55 repair to my windscreen fell out the first time the windscreen wipers were used and the lady (ANNE) just told me it was not an issue. My wipers get worn out, I cannot get a W.O.F and she tells me that she "can't feel a depression in the glass surface", even though she acknowledges seeing the chip... She also says "it is not a warrant issue as it out of range of normal sightlines" without sitting in the seat and seeing for herself. After having other glaziers for both automotive and residential property services recommended to me by long time locals, I still returned to check Anne and Darrens pricing and service availability. Originally I left a text on Darrens cellphone on Christmas Eve asking about a windscreen chip my landlords lawn mowing service had put into my old Ford windshield. Expecting no answer for sometime, and was in no real hurry, I felt guilty when he replied and I was outside cellphone coverage to talk to him and thank him for such an effort! More recently I put my arm through a large window. I guessed off the top of my head 1200x1200mm and got quotes for the two jobs from other places. LEVIN GLASSWORKS charged me the same for both jobs as the other places were asking for me to take the alloy joinery off the house and deliver to them for re-glazing whilst they did my car! So, all in all saved a few dollars, saved hours of time removing alloy joinery and was really impressed with their assistance and good natured but efficient service. Seems that some businesses are your "best mates" but use this to get away with crap jobs and over pricing. Other businesses are great at their business but forget your name, your face or your needs as soon as you accept their quote. Very poor from ANNE. Very very poor. I got a $30 self windscreen kit from SUPERCHEAP AUTO and it worked better. Never got a replacement repair or refund, even though the acknowledged the repair had not worked.

Great service at Covid Level -3 : contactless, arranged in advance, organized and safe. Social distance well maintained and masks worn the whole time A+++. And finally the fact that you could do it for us at our location in Foxton for no extra charge = incredible!
