About Linn Motors
Linn Motors began trading in Paeroa in 1938. Founded by the late Mr Clive Linn Senior, Linn Motors began as a small service station selling petrol and tyres and offering lubrication services.
After World War II Linn Motors branched out into selling motor vehicles and secured the General Motors franchise in 1951. In 1966 Clive Senior was joined by his two sons Bill and Junior.
As the dealership grew a Motors large new showroom and office complex was built and opened in 1972. At that time Linn Motors had the largest car sales business in the Thames Valley (almost 1000 vehicles in 1973 alone) and their turnover of new vehicles placed them among the highest performing dealerships in New Zealand.
In 1975 Clive Junior purchased both his fathers and brothers interests in the firm. Rapid growth was made and a new modern premises was set up in Thames in 1990 to service the greater area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place, has all the facilities required. Staff are nice enough and served me well. I especially enjoyed the flirty female working when i came in. I enjoyed the place thoroughly and the services provided. Im unsure however weather i would come here i was suffering from any variation of hepatitis the vibe of the place also felt specially threatening to hepatitis A. Im unsure weather they would allow you to bring in an animal however big it may be. I would like to emphasize that i strongly feel hep A is not welcomed here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service was great, and the people super nice, but they didn't really deliver. My car wouldn't start so I had it towed over by Paeroa towing service, a super nice guy who arrived on time, had good pricing and he even gave me a lift. This way I could drive my car back when the garage was done with it. It didn't go like that, they couldn't find the problem and couldn't lend me a car either so I walked 13km. I had my car over for a week and they couldn't find the problem. I called them every odd day cause I couldn't work without my car and lost a lot of money that way. They replaced some random pieces. (which I was okay with as long as they would find the problem). At the end of the week I was able to pick up the car and had a small fee of 900 dollars. This was already upsetting but the car started in one go so that brightened it a bit up. I went down the road, had lunch and after that the car started after a dozen tries. Not what you'd expect after a 900 dollar job. So I drove back to the garage and had a chat with the mechanic, he told me nobody knows what's wrong and I'll have to go elsewhere. He was happy to tell a future mechanic what he knows.
