Unfortunately, I can't give them no stars. The worst property manager I have ever come across. Paul breached standard tenancy practice on multiple occasions, never showed up for scheduled inspections and never changed the name on the tenancy agreement even after we filled out multiple forms. Please save yourself the stress and don't use this business.

Do not let with this agency if you want your property to be managed with any level of professionalism. My rental in ponsonby took over 2 months to get rented because of the uselessness of Janine before we fired her and relisted elsewhere. It was then rented within a week. In those months she was showing people through the property she consistently showed up late or didn't respond to messages from both me and the owner. I'm guessing her level of service was actually turning away potential tenants. Took her over a month to even get a bloody photo of the place on trade me. Had to request this 2 times before I went in and did her job for her! Overall LJ Hooker is a respectable company which shouldn't employ people that are complete time wasters and from seeing other reviews this is an on going issue.

The worst landlord/agents I have ever dealt with. I have never seen such unprofessional conduct. Paul held my bond illegally for months without ever lodging it with Tenancy Services. Also lied multiple times in writing. DO NOT USE THEM

Stuck overseas - Wayne did the rest An amazing result … the buyers had told me that they thought Thornlow was at least $75K better than mine & we achieved a higher price within a week of each other! An honest hard working guy with an old fashioned work ethic & a genuine passion for his trade. Being based overseas having someone like Wayne made the process seamless & easy. He had my house cleaned dressed & sold within 3 weeks for well over what I was expecting - couldn't be more delighted.

My sale process was complicated and drawn out because at the beginning I didn't have a proper title or a CCC. Glenis researched all these issues and handled the processes with skill and persistence. She has been amazing supporting me through this whole process. She is tenacious and consistently follows up leads and prospects. She knows her stuff and is highly ethical and professional. I couldn't have asked for a better person to work with and I thoroughly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and energetic agent.

Zero star - NEGLIGENCE. I found out my rental property’s water care bills NEVER been paid since I settled my property in October 2019 and authorized Paul Steven to manage my property including all outgoing bills including water bill. I called Watercare (before New Year) and shockingly learn the bill came up $5900 because there was a leaking found at end of June 2020 which caused the bill very high and nearly passed to debt collector agency since no one take care of the bill. This has distressed me for weeks as imagine if I did not pick up and leave it longer...this has been finally sorted out as the leaks allowance being applied but I was under lot of stress for weeks. Another time, there was a $700 bill charged to my account without my consent, Paul told me there is maintenance and he was too sick and out of work that day and let the handyman to fix it. I am requesting the business owner Steven to refund the management fee since there is no management and also gave more troubles to me as owner, but his response has repeated the same information given by Janine such as leaks are sorted, and did not respond to my refund request.

I recently rented a property with Janine McCormick and I have to say that she has been the best property manager I have ever had. Any maintenance request we had was fixed with in a day of us reporting it to her. We also had some quite unusual circumstances happen while we were in the property and she was incredibly kind and compassionate while dealing with these for us. Highly recommend her to any tenants looking for a property.
