β β β β β Honestly not that great. I paid over $35 for a chicken breast and some rice with a container of sour cream and salsa. I had a different idea of what it might be like so perhaps that's why I'm insatisfied. The taste was just ok at best....you could make it at home for WAY cheaper. Just wasn't impressed at all.

β β β β β Been here for dinner twice now and both times were disappointing. Our service was slow and the waitresses kept forgetting the additional small things we would request with our meals. We asked for an extra plate and a seperate bowl of chips and a side salad. Never received the extra place and the chips was not separate but layered beneath our food. The side salad never came. Also my partners whiskey and coke was just about flat watered down coke and he could hardly taste the whiskey. The ribs here don't pull off the bone like they do in the Dunedin Lone Star.
Was disappointing to say the least. Lone star in Dunedin is much better. We won't go to Invercargill Lone star again.

β β β β β Highly disappointed with the our experience. Ribs were dry, squid rings were soggy and the pork belly was absolutely appalling. It was advertised in the menu as 'crispy' but wasn't, it was more like a rubbery mess. And what was meant to be a gravy was watery and flavorless. Whole meal looked like pig slop. Diffinitly isn't what it use to be. Unfortunately will not be back due to poor standards, a real disappointment Lone Star Invercargill.

β β β β β Delicious food. Great portions, keeping up a good reputation. Our waitress Shane was lovely, very patient, no issues, and she sang happy birthday for mum, which she loved. They did well putting a candle in her icecream! (She didn't want a cake). Creme brulee wasn't exactly the usual, quite sweet and didn't like the berry coulis in it in the end, but would depend on your taste. Everything else was cooked and made to perfection! And we had quite a few meals.

β β β β β Wow, take a bow Lone Star, my Wife & I have had a marvelous night out & a wonderful meal which was awesome. Wonderful service, & compliments to the chef. We will return, & we recommend the sirloin steak with the Lone Star salad, mushroom sauce & the crinkled chips.

β β β β β ? absolutely awful. We got a delivery tonight as we were celebrating something special. Half of my partner's food didn't come and that vomit box below was supposedly Dixie chicken. It was absolutely disgusting for the price and cold. The sauce tastes watered down and is curdled and it's sweet FA food for what we paid
