In fact approximately 15% of our existing franchisees started as Looksmart staff working as tailors, shop managers and even customer service staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I highly recommend Polly Kong at Looksmart High St! She was very kind and helpful when I brought in a near-new jacket which had lost nearly all of its clasps after only a few weeks. She gave me a very reasonable quote and was very efficient in sewing the clasps back in, and even tightened the 1 remaining one. Her standard of work is excellent compared to the fashionable womens' clothing store I bought it from! She's also such a lovely, friendly person, it made for a very positive experience overall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in to get my new dress pants altered. The customer service was ok, got the waist and thighs in and got it back three business days later (technically five days going over the weekend), and the altering was not good, the legs were too tight and pulling in wrong places. The lady threw my receipt away when I gave it to her to get my pants. I emailed the customer support team more than 2 weeks ago and haven't heard back. $100 gone and got back a badly altered pair of pants which is in a worse state than what I had. Would be better to check out other places. Disappointed to have my new pair of pants ruined and paying $100 for a "full refund" policy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve used other Looksmart stores and found them to be very good. Would not recommend this one. The cuff button on my dress shirt came off. I asked them to take the spare button off the bottom of the shirt and sew it onto the cuff. When I got home, I found they’d taken off one of buttons from the middle of the shirt (so now I can’t do it up properly). How can you screw up something so simple?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super fast, great service + quality work at a reasonable price. I took my jeans to be shortened this Saturday morning and was happy to pick them up next week. The friendly staff member said she could shorten them in the time it took to grab a coffee. So we took her offer up! Absolutely top service. Highly recommend. They will get my business in future.

I decided to replace fake leather fabric on my dress with velvet: small pieces 18x8 on both shoulders and fake pockets 7x3 at front of the dress. I brought the fabric for replacement and paid 110$ upfront.
After 8 days I came to pick up the dress as agreed. The dress wasn’t ready and they didn’t contact me about it.
Next time I came I found pinky-size holes in very prominent places you could see without even trying to find an issue with the item. It feels like all stitches were done in a hurry, super careless almost like a blindfolded kid’s done it. The job they did was less than satisfying especially for the price I was asked to pay upfront.
The lady who was handing over the item seemed to be surprised by the quality and asked if she could try to fix it for me. It is concerning if only one person can do an ok job there.
Do check an item on pick up. If you want hassle free service, this is not the place you want to go.

Original post:
Dropped off 3 x trousers for adjustment on 30/10/20. Was told that if there was not rush to pick up afterTues 3/11/20. I was busy so came by the next week on Thurs 12/11/20 and garments could not be found. Manager wasn’t in so staff member and I both searched the store. She told me to come back later after the manager popped in. Still nothing. I called back on Fri but the staff member still had not found it. The manager called me back on Fri afternoon to say that this was supposed to be collected 10-15 days ago (yeah right - time travel is unlikely) and that in their system it shows as being collected! (This is the first time anyone has mentioned this.) I asked that if it was picked up what day and time was this? The manager was silent and dumb. Apparently it was not logged. I disputed this and, of course if she could name a date/time security footage would confirm this. Also, I could show that with work it was physically impossible for me to have picked this up. I’m told that I should come back next week. I can’t imagine any customer would like the experience of throwing hundreds of dollars away, much less being lied to by the manager of this store. Mate, go elsewhere - Susan & Tony nearby are are a better establishment. I have contacted Looksmart HO but have heard nothing yet. And I would not trust this cunning manager as much far as I could throw her.
