I think the biggest and most rewarding challenge of being alive is learning how to be fully present to our lives - appreciating the small and everyday things (freshly ground coffee, a good book, sunshine) and learning to be truly grateful for the big things (our families, this beautiful country we live in). I'm a mum of three insanely active and mischievous boys and just keeping them alive and our house in one piece takes alot of energy - I'm so aware the days are going by so quick, my kids changing so fast, and I'm missing so much of it! So I really appreciate photography as this way to gather up memories and for reminding me how precious and fleeting life is.
