★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stop 9839 is just a sign posted above the pavement, diagonally across the road from Stop 8839 (with the wooden deck, stairs to the beach, and external seats) but the shelter is around the corner from the bus-stop and not on Marine Parade itself.) It is larger than most of the Eastbourne bus-stops and unlike these, is a solid concrete structure offering seating and good shelter. It is also lighted up at night like its counterpart, 8839 on the opposite side of the road.
