★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A well hidden gem which offers peace and tranquility, close to Albany Village. Very safe walkway - recently upgraded... thanks to the council!
Pack a picnic basket and take advantage of the seating plus a few tables provided along the walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little quiet reserve in the middle of Albany with a variety of terrain. Dogs allowed which is a plus!
Edit 09/2019: The park is now closed due to kauri dieback. =(

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went down here with my 5 y/o son and my partner who has a back injury, easy path, really historical loved the view but I think best viewed after some rainfall. Very family friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Guys, this is a sweet spot for a short walk, picnic and play. If you can go over the bridge towards Albany Heights, as soon as you cross the little bridge there's a concealed entry on the left side which you can drive along a short bit to the entrance to the trail, back entrance. Better than the maps recommended path..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a hidden gem. Sort of hard to find the entrance. Good shoes recommend. Won't recommend swimming but people do swim there, so carry towels and swimwears.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small area next to the Main road. Only good enough for the local community. It takes less than 5 minutes to walk around the whole area. A small waterfall to enjoy and relax. No parking available, just park on the road side.
