★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maybe expectations were too high but the cruffin was pretty average considering this is one of the fancier bakeries out there. The outer layer was hella dry/stale like it had been sitting for a while and the lack of a proper cabinet to store the pastries is probably the reason. Not worth $8.50 at all.

This place has never failed me. I've tried a lot of items that they serve here already but I came back cause I was in the area and really wanted to try the ube cruffin. Their cruffins are the definition of decadence. The pastry is so soft and buttery and the cruffins are absolutely stuffed full of flavoured cream, which basically bursts out when you take a bite. The pastries are absolutely delicious but not too sweet, a perfect balance to eat however much you'd like without getting a sugar high.
The staff are also so welcoming and friendly! I never like to judge servers because their jobs are so difficult and tiring, so I don't blame them at all for not putting in a huge amount of effort into being invested in the lives of customers who are often not very understanding. However, it is always nice when you do get really lovely servers! They deserve appreciation for their efforts and the staff at Luna Bake house have always gone out of their way to be accommodating!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today the Croissant is burnt, bitter, overbaked, dry, and super tough. The cruffin was so doughy it almost tasted like bread and nothing like pastry. Not sure if it's a recent issue or what because previously we bought from the city branch and everything was fine.. definitely not worth the money with this quality. Spend your money elsewhere until they fix this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m not a person who usually buys pastries, my partner does, and she brought us to this lovely place.
Pros: It really is amazing.
- Almond Croissant is nice and flaky, one of the best we’ve ever had.
- Peanut butter and Blueberry cruffin, was absolutely delicious. Flaky, as well as moist.
My first time trying, and I would get it again.
- They have a variety of pastries, including Matcha ones!
Cons:
A bit overpriced. Cost is almost $17 for two things.
But overall 10/10 pastries, would return again for a once in a while treat!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This pastry cafe offers a variety of croissant and croffin. Their croissant is gigantic compared to other which makes the price seems reasonable. However, I come here more often for the coffee. Their flat white is one of the best in Newmarket.

BUT, I was so disappointed at bakery. Pain au chocolate has just a dot of chocolate. (In the photo). And almond croissant..... I have no idea what filling it was. I'm an almond croissant lover and I've had so many of them but this one.. can't say it's almond filling. So disappointed. As you can see some of the reviews say it's dry, yes it is super dry seems like using very little amount of butter.
