However, if you're already in the area, it is interesting to learn the history about it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was an interesting place. Parking is a little way up on the opposite side of the road, the Time all is above it. It's a one way street, so you carry on the same direction then it will put you back in town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want a view of the port and surrounding area this is the place to come. Kids had a great time watching container ships being loaded. Park just off the road and it’s a short walk up the hill. Nice bit of history with information boards to read what the Timeball was all about. Worth visiting if you are in the area
