★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be careful when applying for roles with this team. I had to complete all kinds of personal information forms just to interview for a role they had. Never heard back from the interviewer and now can't seem to get off their mailing/newsletter (*cough* spam *cough*) lists. Live and learn....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called the number multiple times no pick up. I called 10 min before still no pick up. So I walk in and tried to meet someone and the check in lady looked at me like I was crazy and said everyone is busy (I can hear everyone in the back joking around) and that I need to submit a resume or call for an appointment. I told her I have done both and she said to me she has been on the phone and never got my call and sent me away. My question is what kind of recruitment agancy doesn’t take a walk in ? And further more how do you get in touch with these guys ? Email did nothing, phone still nothing, and watch out for the bouncer when you walk in lol ? this place is a joke and they don’t care about people. I have had a terrible experience with these guys and if anything they have killed my spirit for a job hunt for the day. Don’t waste your time with these guys there are plenty other company who will at least talk to you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first experience with this agency was really good, Phil Shearing was the Manager at the time and he was amazing. He kept me informed about jobs and he eventually found me 1. After he left my experience with them was ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. I have been temping alot so have been on and off their books. When you call them asking for work, all they say is "send us your cv and we will be in touch". Sometimes they dont get in touch with you. Once they actually asked me to visit them for an ïnterview" and to fill in never ending paperwork!! Thereafter I never heard back from them. I would call them once in a while to touch based and see if there was any roles available, but they would get annoyed and would say "there is nothing at the moment and if anything comes up we will be in touch" but they never call you back!!!!! I was dealing with Natasha Hanley at one point who was no good. I would also see heaps of jobs listed on Seek that they advertise which I was able to do, but they never called me! They constantly advertise for jobs but they WON"T utilise the candidates that they already have on their books!!!!!!!! Also if you leave a message for them to call you back, they dont. This agency is unhelpful, useless and unprofessional, if i could give them a zero I gladly would!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seems the christchurch office has issues. Went there last year and was told my appearance wasn't great due to bad teeth. After several derogatory and humiliating comments, went away deflated. They put it a on me. This was a personal attack and is actually illegal. Was told my time would be better spent getting my teeth fixed and my weight sorted before looking for a job. So just be
wary is all I can say. No Madison recruitment, you cant sweep this under the mat.

Sarah Harland I would particularly recommend with excellent, efficient and personable communication. I dealt with Sarah Harland and all I can say is "What a pleasure!!". Sarah was so professional, timely and friendly, not to mention her absolutely fantastic work ethic. She immediately understood my urgency and perfectly aligned me with a suitable vacancy. Within 4 days I got the job! The person I had the most contact with was Lorrin, and I cannot praise her highly enough. She was extremely quick to reply to calls & emails and able to answer all my questions. The team at Madison conducted themselves with efficiency and professionalism. The interview and customer service roleplay were great - they made me feel at ease. 10/10 would recommend!!
