★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mairangi Bay is a fantastic place to visit. It has everything I like. Shops cafe's and resturants and a beautifully located beach. Downside is all the noise and public works that is being carried out at the beach at present .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a small beach but nice for a short stay. It tends to get overcrowded and there is only a swing for kids. Better to use the gated playground just down the road. Public toilets are easily located and you can walk through to Murray's Bay. Just beware of people jogging as the path is narrow.
