★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rang to reserve a table for a group of 9 and was told we could be seated at 8. Showed up a bit before to have a few drinks and eventually got told we could be seated at 8:15. At 8:30 they set some extra tables for us so we could be seated and were told that we could order shortly. By 9:15 we still hadn't placed our orders so half our group left. Eventually we got to order around 9:20. At 10:00 somebody came and asked if we were waiting for anything, at which we explained how long we had been waiting. The mains arrived at 10:15; the entrees were sent out last (with sauce missing). The steak that was ordered was undercooked with the wrong sauce. It was sent back to receive a well cooked steak but with a different wrong sauce. Overall a poor experience especially compared to the good experiences we'd had before.
They gave us varying small discounts of 10-20% as a way of apologising but only after requesting some compensation.
The booking should have never been accepted. If we had been told they were too busy we would have made alternate arrangements. There were already far too many people for the size of the venue and kitchen facilities.
