★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to chill out, lots of families take their food to eat on the sloping green bankside, others played games with each other. Beautiful Vibrant Red blossoms on the Pohutakawa Tree, it is also known as the "Christmas Tree". Lovely to see in Mangere Bridge ? God's created beauty!

Dinner and a couple of drinks. Ended up joining the Mangere Boat Club. Made a few new friends and enjoyed a lovely Sunday outing. Friendly atmosphere where we were welcomed in.
