★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a great spot, how ever their non dog friendly out look takes the shine off the place. Lots of towns like Mt Maunganui and Rotorua could learn from Taupo when it comes to being pet friendly!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A suttle breeze, the sun was resting behind a cloud and the sound of waves makes this place ideal for an afternoon walk. The sound of laughter as eople play volleyball - perfect place to sit, listen to the waves while eating Turkish wraps :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best spots in the Bay of Plenty! Definitely worth the hike up the mount. 17 minutes if you're fit and go straight up the stairs. 30 minutes if you are unfit or stop for the view!
