★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, they say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different result. I must be insane because I just tried ordering a Masterton Taxis taxi again and believed her, AGAIN, when she said "won't be long", AGAIN.
After waiting for 30 minutes, I just started walking.
Seriously, we need another taxi service in Masterton.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered a taxi, was told 10 minutes, so I waited 5 minutes before going outside. Stood there for 30 minutes on one of the coldest nights we've had this year, no sign of a taxi. Finally see one arriving 40 minutes after I ordered it, only to watch him stop 7 houses away, do a uturn, then leave. I called Masterton taxis again to see what the hell was going on and explained to her I saw a taxi drive down the street, turn around, then leave and she said it was dropping someone off. I told her I thought it was strange she sent a taxi to drop someone off at the same street I had been waiting nearly an hour to be picked up from and didn't get them to pick me up afterwards. She then changed her story and claimed he was doing a pickup, not a drop off. I know that was untrue because I saw people get OUT of the taxi when it stopped. Not get IN.
Absolutely terrible service. I know this review won't make them change the quality of the service they provide, but at least it may prevent people making the same mistake I did. Do NOT use them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ very strange service.. called to enquire about booking a taxi for an early morning trip. All was fine until i confirmed the time (6 am). The operator then hung up! Would have been fine to have just said 'no, thank you'.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked one of their taxis for 10:15am and went out to find that they hadn’t arrived yet so I waited 2 minutes to call and confirm the time and they told me they were dropping someone off in town and they would be there in a couple of minutes. I had a train to catch at 10:30am btw. So it got to 10:25am and I rang again to cancel and apparently the taxi was just down the street which it wasn’t. I missed my train and my whole day is now ruined because of this taxi service.

Instead of lying to your customers and telling them "I'm on my way" when they ring for a taxi because it's what you think they want to hear, then make them wait for 40 minutes before they ring you back and you lie to them further and tell them bull like "I was rushed off my feet" and "I was busy", just be honest with them. If you had told me when I first ordered the taxi "I'm rushed at the moment! I'll be there are as soon as I can!" I would have been fine with that! I wouldn't have minded waiting! Don't tell them you'll "be there soon" if you won't be there soon.
