★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been to lots of schools and this is by far the best, it's a big school and there are lots of kids and lots of playgrounds
It is also a school with lots of trees and plants. I would definitely recommend it as a school.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This used to be an amazing school but the new principal completely ruined it, and all of the decent teachers and no longer teaching here. Matipo's glory days are far over.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful school that has withstood the nasty interference of a small parental lobby and a Commissioner clipping the ticket. Fortunately a strong leadership group established by the former principal remains intact.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Matipo is a great school and Mr Wright was doing a fantastic job in bringing the school forward and into current educational practices. It’s a shame a small but loud group couldn’t see past their egos and see the ethos that was being set.

Class rooms are well organised, devorated and resourced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My old primary and a school my mother taught at and helped run for many years. It has had its ups and downs but seems to ride them pretty well and has been a consistently good school. They've just lost a good principal and are struggling under a commissioner with no proper educational background at all. I'm sure they'll survive this but it is a shame to see it happen.
