The company was established in 1979 at its Marton branch by Tim McVerry and Peter Crawford. In 1990 the company expanded into Feilding, followed by Palmerston North in 1999.
Today McVerry Crawford Motor Group is proudly owned and operated by Tom and Richard McVerry in Palmerston North.
Teamwork and the dedication of our many long term staff members has been crucial to McVerry Crawford Motor Group’s success . Very easy prompt communication and paying. Absolutely fantastic service. Would highly recommended and will be telling friends and family.

I had the drivers side wiper blade fly off into the distance in the middle of nowhere and in pouring rain.
I couldn’t fix it myself and after discussing this with the AA, I got a lucky break an hour later, where the
AA advised that I should to go to Mitsubishi Marton.
The rain eased off and I could proceed to Marton. They were so very kind and easily worked out a solution within minutes.
They wouldn’t accept payment either.
This is amazing, I was so grateful that they could resolve my wiper problem and equally blown

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great group of people you have in your service bay. They turned around a completely miserable roadside situation for me into a positive experience.
My windscreen wiper flew off and vanished while driving in heavy rain. I had been roadside for some time, in the middle of nowhere, waiting for AA when Then was advised that Marton was the closest location and directed to McV C Marton. During intermittent breaks in the rain I was able to head in that direction.
I pulled in to the service bay, immediately met by a smiling and charming man who took what was left of my bent wiper holder and cannibalised my left wiper so two minutes after driving In there it was sorted. Wouldn’t accept payment either! Incredible in these times where businesses are under such stress.
I’m going back there to buy my next car.
