About McWatt Group Ltd
After the war, Alvon Mcwatt (‘Mac’ as he was known) had a cream run in the East Tamaki area. He then started his own business as a farming contractor, summer time was haymaking and from the early days Alvons sons remember long days out in the hay paddocks. This evolved into general contracting and Earthmoving services.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shane and Willie did the impossible for us last year. We had a new build and the driveway had to be moved. We also wanted to move the two stone columns marking our driveway entrance. The builders and stonemasons said it couldn't be done, but Willie encouraged us to try and relocate it to the new entrance.
With Shane and Willie nothing was too hard. They really problem solved for us and saved our columns. Fantastic guys, I'd hire them again without hesitation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always good service at good prices. Very efficient for an often busy yard. Make sure you stop at the office first if you haven't been before or dont have an account. Make sure you check out their website because they offer a huge amount of services. And entering the yard stick to the left and go clockwise. I've used McWatts for years, a great company from the loader driver, truck driver, yard manager, office ladies( Hi Sally, always helpful) to Shane & Murray, I wouldnt stay only for good prices, its the service, efficiency, quality & pricing plus friendliness/helpfulness that makes the complete package.
