MDT Driver Training has a mission. To enable people to drive safely, to be respectful and aware of other drivers on New Zealand roads.
Driving is a privilege. It is also the most dangerous thing that people will do in their entire life, yet it is taken so lightly.
New Zealanders are very outgoing people and are always trying to fit more into a single day than there is time. We are always concentrating on what we will be doing when we get to our destination, rather than concentrating on driving in the moment. This is why we get annoyed when encountering slow or less confident drivers. This is also why we have indecisive drivers and why so many drivers fall asleep at the wheel.
All drivers on the road need to be aware that their carelessness and fatigue levels can and sometimes do harm other road users.
