We had a bag go missing on Air Asia, and so reported this to Menzies at Auckland Airport. I then wanted to follow up on how they were getting on finding our bag, so googled them and found this site with the not so good reviews. I was worried that it could be a tough process. I made contact and they asked me to send a follow up email that they would reply to, and within 10 minutes had a reply clarifying some details. In a day they had contacted me to say they had located our bag in Kuala Lumpur and it was en route to Auckland. There ended up being a bit of a delay once it got to Auckland, as the bag ended up sitting there for a day, but a Menzies staff member noticed it, called me and then sent it on urgent courier to us in Christchurch. It then arrived a day sooner than they had predicted. So in summary their customer service was brilliant, really pleasant staff and returned calls and emails as promised. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars was it seems there may be some flaw in the system when our bag sat in Auckland Airport. I dealt with a number of staff, but the ones I remember who were brilliant were Seabee and Mason.

Was called at 10am on the day of my baggage drop (since it didn't make it on to my fly due to delays and was therefore being dropped off to me) and was told my baggage would be picked up at 12:30pm and would be arriving within three hours of this pick up. Waited until 4pm, as nothing had arrived yet, and called to ask where it was. I was then told that it was collected at 2pm, not 12:30pm as I was advised that morning. I have wasted an entire day waiting for my luggage to arrive due to being provided incorrect info. Obviously a human error, but this kind of oversight is so easily avoidable it blows my mind - especially being jet lagged after a flight from the UK. Definitely not happy.

The worst customer service ever experienced. Personnel was rude on the phone, not replying calls or emails, keeping you waiting on the phone while talking about movies, lying regarding when the goods were going to be delivered, etc. Still waiting after three days for our baby's pram and car seat. Shame of Emirates for working with these guys.

Seriously in need of public relations staff. After a long flight there was a decent wait for any luggage to appear. Eventually one bag turned up but not the other...was told there would be contact/delivery next morning (Friday before Christmas...luggage contained all Christmas presents)...nearly drove myself mad with phone calls emails from midday next day...no response to anything. Next morning read this site and decided to try my luck as others had done and was relieved/ecstatic to find the hour plus drive back to Auckland Airport paid off with luggage there waiting for idk what. Allstars well that ends well...but a staff member dedicated to answering the phone would certainly do your reviews a world of good and save your clients unnecessary stress. The staff I did eventually deal with were pleasant and helpful...if my experience was at all typical I dare say they cop a little abuse from frustrated clients over issues beyond their control.

My bags were lost on a Saturday evening and we had wonderful customer service at the airport. We were told that we would receive a call within 24 hours, 48 hours at most with an update on our missing baggage. We left disappointed, but happy customers. I spent all of Monday (when I say all, I mean all - hundreds of phone calls logged on my phone) and Tuesday morning trying to reach Menzies as we had not heard anything. I tried the three numbers listed on the document given to us, the number listed on Google, Simon Hinman's number as listed on your website and three further numbers (including the supervisor on duty) given to me after I called Auckland Airport four times. So 1.5 days of calling and eight phone numbers and not once was the phone picked up. I saw that this was nothing new when I read other Google reviews of the company - it seems that many others have experienced the same issue. I was left with no choice but to drive to Auckland Airport and collect my luggage - it was a gamble; I took time out of work (after I'd spent countless hours already calling), and paid for petrol and parking to collect baggage that I wasn't sure was even there. Luckily for me, it was. And luckily for me, I live in Auckland - my pity goes out to everyone who can't get through to you and is unable to get to the airport. Terrible, non-existent customer service.

Endless phone calls to try to get through. No one calls you back and you can't leave a message. When you do get through, they're not really helpful. The Emirates bag check showed that the bags were unable to be located, so that was useless. Then I got through and apparently one bag was there and the other was on its way. I didn't hear anything for a day. I called 8 or more times and finally got through, then they couldn't find the first or second bags. The next morning I called again, then the first bag was back and waiting for biosecurity. In the end, I went to their office at Auckland Airport and told them that I'd been told a bag was ready to go (at this time, I thought the other bag was still being located and I had no idea whether bag 1 had been through biosecurity). It took them 10 minutes and they walked out of the door with both bags, to my great relief. Both had been checked by biosecurity. TL;DR: extremely poor customer service and communication. Three days of frustration despite, seemingly, bag 1 arriving 24 hours after we did and bag 2 arriving 48 hours after.

I sent my personal items through Skycargo and all the stuff including the reception at Menzies were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. This is my second time sending through Skycargo as it cheap and super easy process and quick. First time I sent my personal items of approximately 380 kg to Kuwait on the 15/6/2020 and it arrived at the airport at the 19/6/2020. This is my second time using Skycargo to ship my personal stuff and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND to use their service. It's safe, quick and no complications.

Menzies aviation were they do import and export cargo it's a very busy warehouse and easy to locate right opposite Mcdonald by the light that import and next door its export if want sent cargo anywhere in the ? you count on Menzies Aviation
