I commend these girls for their professional and friendly approach. I walked in one day without a clue as to what to do with my hair and I walked out a completely new and uplifted woman. The only downside in Australia is "Michelle's hair studio" isn't here. I strongly recommend my favourite salon to everyone!

Michelle and her lovely staff provided a stellar experience, from their friendliness through to their professionalism. They were able to accomplish one of the more difficult tasks in hairdressing: taking someone from dark brown to white hair, in one sitting, and without discomfort. And I got a great haircut, too.
On top of all this, their prices are really reasonable, and the coffee's delicious.
After having been to some of Wellington's top salons, I can heartily recommend Michelle's - and they can count me a loyal customer from now on :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sorry to sound like a real Karen but I’m sure the regular customers who attend your salon and new potential customers who have their vaccine passports and follow the rules that have been set to protect everyone and who aren’t arrogant enough to think that the rules just don’t apply to them need to be aware of this. Im super disappointed to see an anti-Vaxer posting selfies online of themselves having their hair done in this salon after hours illegally. I guess common sense when operating illegally isn’t exactly a strong point within this group of people either.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The professionalism and the team there are wonderful, I've been going there for years and never had a bad experience until this week. The stylist, who was lovely, cut my hair SIGNIFICANTLY shorter than I asked by about 2-3 cm at the front and more like 3-4 cm shorter than I wanted at the back. She did not follow my requests for my cut at all and then said it was because of my hair type. She then ignored me when I said my hair was wavy (was straight during appointment due to rain) and I left looking like a coconut $60 broker and very unhappy. A few days later the front looks awful and the back, which was cut for straight hair, is sticking up all over the place. I am deeply upset by this experience and won't be coming back. This is a shame as every other time I've gone and made a request for the same haircut I've gotten beautiful results.
