About Milford Baptist Kindergarten
We are a fully licensed, all day, and sessional kindergarten operated by the Milford Baptist Church as a service to our community.
We exist to prepare children for life by providing an environment that stimulates their curiosity and learning. We are proud to deliver high quality pre-school, which is supportive of families and our community. We believe children’s holistic development and learning is nurtured through play, interaction with and exploration of our environment, modelling, purposeful teaching and repetition, in collaboration with parents and underpinned by our centre vision, values and Te WhΔriki.

β β β β β Milford Baptist kindy is a wonderful place for early childhood education. After having a not so great experience at a different kindy, our son was welcomed with open arms and was provided with the caring and nurturing environment that he craved. He has been so happy at Milford Baptist kindy and he always comes home with a smile. Our family is so grateful for the kind and caring nature of all the teachers there and for such a wonderful experience for our child. Also a very clean and tidy place and have felt confident in their protocols to try and keep all the children safe and healthy while in their care during the pandemic. Highly recommend!

β β β β β Milford Baptist Kindergarten is lovely early learning centre, where my two children attend, aged 2 and 4. My children love attending the kindergarten and the teachers and support staff, are exceptional kind and welcoming. The kids are encouraged to learn about all walks of life and they have a beautiful outdoor area, with proper shade protection. The children are encouraged to be creative through arts, colouring, dance, as well as singing and theatrics. They are also encouraged to be kind and learn to play with one another.
Every week, I am notified of what is going on in the kindy through the online portal. This is really important, as I can see the children are happy and learning lots of new things. I would highly recommend you sending your children to the Milford Baptist Kindy.

β β β β β Our family couldnβt be happier with our time at Milford Baptist Kindergarten. The staff and teachers are all fantastic; professional, knowledgeable and committed to creating a positive and nurturing learning and play environment. The facilities are clean, exciting and varied. My children endlessly enjoy the expansive outdoor area and sandpit. Enough space to explore safely and plenty of shade cover for the summer months. My children are excited to attend each day and always come home stimulated, happy and full of new ideas and learnings.
We appreciate the great level of efficient communication from the kindergarten and also the ongoing updates on the portal
for individual learning stories. We are so impressed with dedication we have seen to both of our children's learning and development to prepare them for the transition to school.
A home away from home, we are very grateful for our experience at this wonderful, loving Kindy and would recommend it to anyone.

β β β β β We are so grateful for the amazing early childhood experience Milford Baptist Kindy provides for our son. The facilities are wonderful, clean & stimulating for the children with such an excellent variety of both indoor & outdoor activities The teachers are warm, friendly & approachable to both the children & parents. We just love that the teachers put a strong emphasis on building positive, trusting relationships with the children to learn about their individual interests and make each child feel safe, loved & cared for.

β β β β β Milford Baptist Kindergarten is such a wonderful Kindy. The staff are lovely and treat the all the families as part of one big family. The teachers are all kind, caring and supportive and help work with the children to help them grow and develop and get ready for school. The facilities are amazing and stimulating for the kids. We feel very lucky that our daughter has been able to attend.

β β β β β A most wonderful kindy that my son Daniel went to from 2.5 years old. He was very shy and had difficulty to communicate by using his words. He finished his MBK 2 years ago- He is now 6 and a very confident Y2 at Milford Primary. The MBK team teachers was just amazing and really helped Daniel to build his confidence and independence. Their love and care manifested to Daniel he become today.
Now my little girl Ana is attending now at 3 and she equally enjoying the time at MBK. The teachers are amazing. They have this wonderful positivity in today's difficult circumstances.
We can't recommend highly enough of the MBK team. You are all wonderful!

β β β β β We absolutely love Milford Baptist Kindergarten. Our son has been here for nearly two and a half years now. The teachers are so loving and caring and really take the time to get to know all the children and their different personalities and characters. If you have any concerns they are always happy to listen, advise and help out where ever possible. There are so many different activities set up for the kids to enjoy, they change them up every week so there is always something new for the children to experience and learn.
